From your idea to your surface.
A wall mural, a business logo, or something completely personal—we help turn your idea into a plan, then bring it to life on-site. Here’s what to expect when you work with Beyond Surface Co.
Tell us about your projectA clear plan.
Every step.
Tell us what you have in mind
Start with your idea, the space you want to transform, and your Iowa location. A photo of the surface and approximate width and height help us understand the project. Finished artwork is welcome, but an inspiration image or a description is a useful starting point, too.
Helpful to share: The look you’re after, how the space is used, and any preferred completion date.
Check the surface & the space
We review the material, texture, condition, and access around the print area. Painted walls, brick, wood, glass, and other materials each need a different approach. We’ll discuss suitability, any preparation needed, and whether more photos or a site visit would help before finalizing the plan.
Good to know: Let us know about furniture, fixtures, tight spaces, or outdoor exposure.
Review the design, quote & schedule
We work through the artwork, print size, and placement with you so the design fits the surface. You’ll review the proposed layout and quote before we schedule the work. If you need help getting an idea ready to print, we’ll discuss the options and include any agreed design work in the plan.
Your approval matters: We confirm the design, project details, and timing with you before printing.
Get ready for print day
Before the appointment, we’ll confirm the preparation and access your project needs. That may include moving furniture, clearing the work area, or completing agreed surface preparation. Our team brings the printing equipment, checks the placement, and prints the approved design directly onto the suitable surface.
Planning around your space: Tell us about business hours, school calendars, or other activity so we can discuss a workable schedule.
Take a look & enjoy the result
Once printing is complete, we review the finished piece with you and talk through care guidance for your material and setting. If the project includes any agreed finishing steps, those are part of the walkthrough too. You’ll know how to look after the print and who to contact with questions.
Before we get started.
Do I need finished artwork?
No—you can reach out with a concept, reference image, or a description. If you already have a logo or design, share the best-quality original file you have. We’ll review what’s needed to prepare it for the proposed print size and discuss any design help before work begins.
Can you print on my surface?
Suitability depends on the material, finish, texture, condition, and equipment access. Share a photo and a few details so we can review your specific project. Our surface examples are a starting point for ideas; we confirm the approach for your actual surface before scheduling.
How long does a project take?
Timing depends on the artwork, print size, surface preparation, access, and schedule. We’ll discuss the expected time on-site and the steps needed beforehand as part of your quote. If you’re planning around an opening, event, or school break, mention that when you get in touch.
What affects the quote?
The print dimensions, artwork preparation, material, site access, and Iowa location all help define the scope. Share those details where you can. We’ll explain the proposed work and any preparation or design needs so you can review the project before committing.
Have a surface.
Have an idea?
Tell us a little about both. We’ll help you figure out the next step for your space.
